Breaking Free by Beth Moore was a surprise delivered to my door. Little did I know that this would have a profound impact on my life.
One day a package arrived from someone I did not know personally. It contained a study book (different than the one above) that was written by Beth Moore, along with a note that simply said, “God told me to send this to you.” Needless to say it had me very curious.
This was soon after I had started making priority my time in the mornings with God, intently searching and asking God many questions, including if God was truly real and if I could actually trust God.
I started to read the book but never finished it. However, I was prompted to search for other material by Beth Moore, to help as a tool for extended family issues we were dealing with at the time. That led me to “Breaking Free”.
Among other highlights, reading Breaking Free, for me, was the beginning of experiencing the Bible coming alive in ways I had not taken note of before. It was somewhere along this path that I also came to realize that God loves me no matter what! With that concrete realization, I was deeply moved when that reality hit me.
